1.How to sort solar controllers?
By function:Solar streetlight controller, solar charge discharge controller. Of course, both controllers make to charge a battery and coordinate solar panel make to charge a battery slowly or quickly and so on.They aren't any different. Distinguish lie in, ways of the control output, the former usually light control and time control and manual operation; and the latter usually only is manual operation.
By application: Lawn lamp controller,home controller,solar streetlight controller. In these types, there is light control and time control function, and there isn't it.
By charge method: PWM, direct charger. PMW is pulse width modulation which be called for short, solar controller is the easier charge current controller, charge voltage etc parameter.
By charge efficiency: MPPT and not MPPT. MPPT is the largest power point track for short. MPPT technology can use the largest efficiency solar, charge efficiency also is very high.
By set method: Distance type and manual type.
By parameter storage mode: Volatile and nonvolatile. After users set parameter and outage, it couldn't lose it. But most of the mode haven'T the function, reset parameter every time.
2.Solar controller have sensitization components inside. For example, photoresistance, optocoupler etc.
Many people think of solar controller have the components inside, actually answer is no. So, how to realize optically-controlled ? because of solar panel is a natural sensitization component, different intensity light irradiate on solar panel and generated current or voltage is different. So, solar controller can judge voltage or current through solar panel to know radial strong or weak. When solar panel generated a certain voltage value, solar controller will judge day or night. Controller output, from day to night is 6V(System voltage 12V); and from night to day is different with the latter about 4.5V, solar controller judge it is dawn, so running relevant processing program.
